Burghers Orquestra

Amsterdam punk veterans Niels and Simone started Burghers Orquestra in 2022 to do something totally different from what they did before: a mix of psychedelia, exotica and post punk with reverb-laden guitar, farfisa organ and all kinds of instruments like brass, xylophones etc. combined with their boy/girl harmonies. They put out two LPs, then found drummer Aad, also an old Dutch punk (who after 30 years of living in Zurich returned to the land of cheese and clogs). With this three-person line up Burghers Orquestra play their eclectic music in a simplified, streamlined way, going from an "Orquestra" back to being a mean & lean band.
