The story began when three friends sang a song during a walk in their village. Tatuli filmed the moment and posted it online, and within two weeks, the video was watched by millions, turning them into global sensations. Today, Trio Mandili has over 1.35 million followers on Facebook and more than 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube.

The group’s name comes from “mandili,” a traditional Georgian scarf. Historically, women would drop it on the ground to reconcile quarrelling men.
