A residency can happen anywhere, and with some planning and intentionality, you can design one that integrates seamlessly into your life. Together, we will discover what you most need in your practice right now and explore how to create an artistic structure that supports it. Core aspects include balancing rest and work, breaking from rigid structures, finding discipline through ease rather than force, and embracing the productive discomfort that comes with growth. We’ll also discuss how to build supportive routines, and commit realistically to your practice in service to what it needs. Community is essential to this process, and we will cover the essential role of accountability and sharing progress in your own network.
