Doll$ on the Block è un evento inclusivo e dinamico che celebra e sostiene la comunità LGBTQIA+ in Ticino e dintorni. Offrendo uno spazio sicuro per l’espressione personale e artistica attraverso DJ set, performance dal vivo e pole dance colmando una lacuna nel panorama culturale locale. L’evento crea un ambiente accogliente e privo di giudizi, favorendo l’autenticità. L’obiettivo principale di Doll$ on the bock è di sostenere artistə queer locali e non, rafforzando e creando una comunità visibile e solidale, contribuendo all’innovazione culturale e sociale della regione e posizionando il Ticino come punto di riferimento nazionale per la cultura queer giovanile.

Questo momento è stato pensato, e nasce per celebrare la nostra community, la sua diversità, creatività e belezza. Chiunque è super welcome! Chiediamo semplicemente a coloro che non ne fanno parte di informarsi e ricordare che questo momento è dedicato specialmente alle persone queer, per darci finalmente un ambiente sicuro dove poterci esprimere liberamente.

DollS on the Block è un party che dà la priorità alla creazione di uno spazio il più sicuro possibile. Non saranno tollerate discriminazioni e violenze di alcun tipo. Non tolleriamo razzismo, omofobia, lesbofobia, bifobia, transfobia, misgendering, misoginia, sessismo o abilismo. Un team di volontari sarà disponibile durante la serata per qualsiasi necessità.

Doll$ on the Block is an inclusive and dynamic event that celebrates and supports the LGBTQIA+ community in Ticino and surrounding areas. By providing a safe space for personal and artistic expression through DJ sets, live performances and pole dance, it fills a gap in the local cultural scene. The event fosters a welcoming, judgment-free environment that encourages authenticity. The main goal of Doll$ on the Block is to support both local and non-local queer artists, while building a visible and supportive community. It contributes to the cultural and social innovation of the region, positioning Ticino as a national hub for youth-driven queer culture.

This moment was conceived and created to celebrate our community, its diversity, creativity, and beauty. Everyone is super welcome! We simply ask those who are not part of it to educate themselves and remember that this moment is especially dedicated to queer people, to finally give us a safe space where we can express ourselves freely.

DollS on the Block is a party that prioritizes creating the safest space possible. Discrimination and violence of any kind will not be tolerated. We do not tolerate racism, homophobia, lesbophobia, biphobia, transphobia, misgendering, ableism or sexism. An awareness team of volounteers will be available throughout the evening for any needs.
