Kurzinhalt:

Sandra, eine alleinstehende Frau in den Fünfzigern, lebt ein unabhängiges Leben frei von Konventionen. Als das Paar aus der Nachbarwohnung zur Entbindung ihres Kindes ins Krankenhaus muss, erklärt sich Sandra widerwillig bereit, sich um den kleinen Sohn Elliott zu kümmern und ahnt nicht, damit zu einer wichtigen Bezugsperson für die ganze Familie zu werden. Was als vorübergehende Hilfe begann, führt zu einer unerwartet tiefen Bindung.

Synopsis:

Sandra, a single woman in her fifties, leads an independent life free from conventions. When the couple next door has to go to the hospital for the birth of their child, Sandra reluctantly agrees to look after their young son Elliott - unaware that she is about to become an important figure in the lives of the entire family. What begins as a temporary favor develops into an unexpectedly deep bond.
